I sit here lonely like a star,
Surrounded by others,
Outshone by all,
Overlooked and never heard.

I feel abandoned and alone
Forgotten by the world,
I sit here in my corner.
Wishing to see the light

I am never understood,
No-one even tries,
An outcast among outcasts,
Treated only to whispers and lies.

No-one notices that I'm there,
Or worries when I'm not,
Never greeted as I arrive,
Or acknowledged as I leave.

But it never bothers me,
Because when I see you,
Suddenly everything feels right,
I have no wories and no pain,
I don't care what the other people say,
I know it isn't ture,
All that matters is me and you.
